Frequently Asked Questions
Are compounded medications effective?
Many patients achieve successful outcomes with compounded medications when used as prescribed under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Because compounded medications are customized and are not FDA approved, individual results may vary. Our partner pharmacies follow rigorous quality standards, including third-party testing for identity, potency, and purity.
What medications does UnionRx prescribe?
UnionRx provides personalized treatment programs designed to support weight management, longevity, and overall wellness. Our clinical offerings continue to expand and may include compounded GLP-1 medications, peptide therapies, hormone optimization, and other evidence-informed treatments. Every prescription is based on an evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider, who will determine the treatment that is appropriate for your individual needs.
Am I eligible to enroll with UnionRx?
UnionRx is available to eligible union members interested in accessing virtual healthcare services. Eligibility for any treatment program is determined by a licensed healthcare provider following a review of your medical history, current health status, and treatment goals. Not all patients or treatments are appropriate for every individual, and prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate.
Does UnionRx accept medical insurance?
UnionRx does not currently accept medical insurance. We offer transparent, affordable self-pay pricing across our treatment programs, making it easy to access care without navigating insurance approvals or coverage restrictions. Pricing varies by treatment and will be clearly presented before you begin.
